Our Founder
I'm George Matherson, Founder and Principal Consultant of Matherson Group.
I've spent over a decade embedded inside organizations that needed more than a recruiter — they needed a strategic partner who understood their business, their culture, and the stakes of every hire. I've worked with Amnesty International USA, NeighborWorks America, the United Nations Foundation, Pfizer, and dozens of others, filling roles from frontline specialists to Board Directors and SVPs — with a near-perfect offer acceptance rate across every engagement.
I started Matherson Group because I kept seeing the same problem: growing organizations making expensive, reactive hiring decisions without the infrastructure to do it right. The solution isn't always a full-time TA leader. Sometimes it's a senior partner who can step in, build the system, fill the roles, and leave your team stronger than they found it.
